Raising rabbits can bring a lot of joy and love. We currently raise and show New Zealand and American rabbits. ARBA sanctioned shows help us see how we can improve our lines and build our community. We also raise TAMUKs. Currently, we have a single male continental giant.

We run a rabbitry in Tanner, AL.  Raising rabbits is a controversial topic, but it is something that is fulfilling.  Topics discussed may not be comfortable to all individuals. 

When we first started raising rabbits, we did not know that there were multiple ways to learn about the breeds and husbandry.  Shortly after getting our first New Zealands, a breeder recommended that we go to an ARBA sanctioned rabbit show.  We did and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and wealth of knowledge available.  We continue to go to shows in order to evaluate our lines.  The term "barn blind" comes to mind.  Sometimes, others can see something you miss.

Rabbits can serve multiple purposes on a homestead.  They can provide emotional support, meat, fiber, hides, fertilizer, and other byproducts.
